About This Project

After the construction, we could design the interior of this extension at the gateway of Paris.

Due to the lack of specific instructions, the interior project was designed with complete freedom in accordance with the spaces defined by the rooftop around which the black wooden frame was centered.

Openings giving onto the terrace from the living room or the added suspended room, helped breathe freedom into this project.

This narrow living room and its high ceiling are reminiscent of the codes of the apartments in Amsterdam.

The industrial-looking staircase covered with “floating” fitted carpet invites its guests to walk up barefoot to the flat rooftop. Much like the exteriors of Luis Barragan, the guests need to slightly bend to access the terrace.

Opposite the bathtub, a window frames the sky and a piece of acroterion to invite the guest into a painting by Hopper

The superior bedroom provides a breathtaking view of a hanging garden which when lit at night offers reflections of chimneys in the apartment

Several items were dyed to create a decor true to its inhabitants. A certain taste for eclecticism and daydreaming.
