About This Project

Variation on a light of a traditional technique, rattan caning, used to weave chair seats since the 17th century, around a functional object.

The meaning of this caning disk was to make use of a craft that is less and less used to repair chairs. This weaving brings a certain sensuality to a simple and elegant object.

This model was tailored-drawn for a child’s room and made in France.
